🔍 Detailed Breakdown
Elgato Key Light
The industry benchmark: 2800 lumens of edge-lit light with 2900-7000K range, Wi-Fi/app control and Stream Deck integration. KitGuru gave it 9/10; Windows Central calls the price astronomical but the light itself superb.
Best for: Serious streamers building a pro lighting setup - $179.99
Elgato Key Light Air
The classic compact panel: 1400 lumens with the same app and Stream Deck control as the flagship, at roughly half the price. EposVox's cheap-vs-expensive shootout shows exactly where it beats budget panels.
Best for: Desk streamers who want the classic at half the price - $99.99
Elgato Key Light Mini
The portable one: 800 lumens of battery-powered, bi-color soft light with a 1/4-inch thread and magnetic mounting. KitGuru gave it 8.5/10, finding 800 lumens more than enough in their brightness testing.
Best for: Portable setups and on-the-go creators - $99.99
Budget LED Panel (Neewer / Dazzne class)
The cheap-vs-expensive test shows when a budget panel is acceptable: fine as a fill light, but harsher diffusion and weaker color accuracy than Elgato. EposVox's shootout is the honest guide here.
