Detailed Breakdown

Elgato Stream Deck MK.2

The consensus all-rounder: 15 LCD keys, the most mature plugin ecosystem, deep OBS/Twitch integration, and swappable faceplates. Windows Central scored it 4.5/5; Tom's Hardware calls it a streamer's best friend.

Elgato Stream Deck+

The dials version: 8 LCD keys plus four 360-degree dials with push function and a touch strip - effectively a compact mixing console. KitGuru gave it 8/10 for sheer functionality.

Elgato Stream Deck Plus XL

The 2026 flagship: 32 keys plus the Stream Deck+ dial-and-strip layout for production desks with thousands of dollars of gear. PCWorld found it genuinely overkill for everyone else.

Elgato Stream Deck Mini

The entry ticket: 6 LCD keys running the exact same software and plugin ecosystem as its bigger siblings. Tom's Hardware recommends it as the way to save money if 6 keys is enough.
